Neumayr kicked Wills in the teeth.

He deserved it, too.

In the place of anything even remotely resembling reasoned argumentation is bald bigotry aimed at his own religious heritage. "Can a people that believes more fervently in the Virgin Birth than in evolution still be called an Enlightened nation?" he writes.

The libs/Dems claim to be the party of reason (which they have abandoned -- the principle of contradition means nothing to them), the party of compassion ("Doing well by doing good" comes from somewhere, after all), the party of the little guy (John Kerry, man of the people).

The "party of the inflated ego" would be closer to the mark!

"John Kerry possessed reason, George Bush possessed faith."

Reason is worthless if based on false premises. Reason based upon the right premise with faith in one's convictions is necessary in times like these. President Bush now knows that a clear majority of Americans agree with his "reasoning" and the decisions he has made in an effort to keep America safe. It would seem that a majority of Americans did not trust Senator Kerry's "reasoning."

Logic and reason are tools of the white male oppressor.

The big problem with liberals is not religious conservatives. I am not one, but if you call me a good Christian, I'll take it as a great compliment. It is the very large fact that liberals and Dems are thoroughly unable to understand the problems facing America and quite unwilling to respond effectively to them. If they think national security is not a great concern, then they simply don't understand the legitimate fears of the great majority of Americans.

They also fail to realize that although the anti-gay marriage initiatives passed by four to one margins in many states, Bush didn't win any of those states by a four to one margin. That means that many of the people who voted for Kerry also voted for anti-gay marriage initiatives. Does anyone think that the Dems will castigate members of their own party for voting yes to the no-gay-marriage initiatives? The fact is that most Americans, of whatever political persuasion, are anti-gay marriage. So are millions of Democrats who voted against gay marriage haters and religious zealots too? Answer that one libs.
