One thing's for sure, if the Blues secede, those of us in Jesusland ain't gonna fight a Civil War to keep them from going.

Americans hold to a highly stilted definition of civil war, imposed as the result of the 1860s war. Given secession by fiat, America's first true Civil War would be initiated within the seceding states own populations. But with less than a 80/20 ratio in the Red states there would be no stopping its spread. Such a conflict would restore a correct definition to our lexicon at a cost that would make the "Civil War" look like a cake walk.

While we can discuss it in jest, I don't wish true civil war on anyone.

(BTW, not directed at you personally)

..... This country is a beautiful thing and thanks to the father of the current president whom shared a very scary reference with another tremendously frightning historical figure of the last century (initials A.H. think Germany circa 1940's) I beleive I'll be moving to contribute to a much better society. One with a better market (yes by like 2 fold)and ,yes, free health care. "Good" you say? Remember that living well is the best revenge and while you can't pay rent because you're job just went on a permenat vacation to Thailand. I'll be toe up enjoying 32 days off a year with free health care without a worry because state rules do not allow corparate "layoffs" or "outsourcing". I Oh by the way Hitler and George H Bush are the two political figures of the last century to comment on the need for a "New World Order." .....

Blah! Blah! Blah!

Don't let the door hit you on the way out, loser! ha!

He's dead, Jim.

Yes, in spite of Union losses, the Confederate states had their tails handed to them! Have they ever got over that defeat? DUmmocrats still dwell on the race issue (keeping blacks on the DNC plantation), "states rights" (for gay marriage only), believe that they alone hold the keys to "progress", and still posess a "nation divided" mentality.

Well, as I just posted on another thread, RATS would never secede. We would have nothing to lose and everything to gain if they did, but since we are the ones that pay most of the taxes, and since they live to spend other people's money, we can figure on the parasites sticking around and whining and blowing hot air. Unfortunately, it's toxic air.

That's the point. They won't let you. Do it now, and you won't have to.

You are correct. Most of skerry's support, other than Hollyweird michael moron types, dan blather and the likes, dumbocRAT voters pay little or no taxes. They get more money from gov handouts rahter than making on a job. How sad a situation.

Hmm. New Orleans. Savannah. Newport News. Charleston. Miami. Jacksonville. Pascagoula. Houston. Beaumont. Dallas (all we need do is build the Trinity Ship Channel extension that the eco-weenies stopped dead).

Not to mention the Mississippi/Ohio/Missouri inland waterways.

Ah, yes! And our new flag should have a blue field with fifty white stars and one small maple leaf.

Nope, it would have stars for the 7 (8?) states in Canada and the 13 or 14 in Mexico and the few coming out of the carribbean.

In the neighborhood of 75 stars.

Manifest Destiny.

But....to your relief, I'm not in any position to affect this change. :>) JMHO
