The re-election of U.S. President George W. Bush has driven some Americans to gaze wistfully north. As a service to our U.S. readers, we offer a primer on what to expect when crossing the Peace Bridge for good:
1. In Canada, bush is a term that refers to the wilderness, which is the only place guns are allowed.
2. Our country is a union of the French and the English. Given Henry VIII and all that, you can see why we have never claimed to be a nation united under God.

A Canadian conservative poster has already said that they don't want such people living in their country. Why don't we send them to France?
Humor (humour) bump.
The Democrats who would emigrate to Canada are so far removed from our Founding Fathers that they will be quite comfortable with having the visage of the British Monarch on their coin and postage.
Good bye and good riddance, I say.
I suppose that the Dems would be happy to know that Canada bans Fox News. It is actually against the law to receive television signals from Fox News in Canada.
"eh?"....hockey?..what's that?
I have to say that piece is lame.

Dear Mike Watters,
Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
We just allowed one man from Russia to immigrate to take your place. He is a welcome sight,a hard worker, worships the American flag, comments on his newly found freedoms every day.
So to make a long story short, A true American that represents its values and traditions has filled your place.
Your return will be denied. Enjoy your new life in Canuckistan.
Area51
This is very true and as a Canadian I am thoroughly disgusted with the CRTC (similar to your FCC) on this issue. To allow CNN and MSNBC but not FoxNews is plain old stupid and shows some serious bias for a board that is suppose to be independent.
As for the Toronto Star's a$$hole comments. Remember, this paper is the liberal paper in Ontario, Canada. It's like the NY Times and WaPo. The Toronto Sun is our conservative rag.
Here's my response to the newspaper:
As a middle-class public high school teacher and Bush supporter, I cant afford Mike Watters $499,000 Stillwater home, and Id have no reason to buy his Kerry-Edwards sign other than to sigh with grateful relief every time I looked at it.
Because President Bushs middle-class tax cuts quintupled my perennially modest federal return last year, I am in the market for a sign, though. If either of Watters neighboring Catholic churches has a Pray to end abortion or Abortion stills a beating heart sign for sale, Id like to transplant it to the grounds of Kerrys home parish. God knows Mr. Kerry needs all the help he can get to connect with Catholicisms Biblically based moral values.
Here's a country with their mental condition displayed on their currancy: The Loony
