I, too, was a Democrat when Rush began to rise in prominence. However, I never bad-mouthed him. Instead, I listened to him because he was outrageously funny and insightful, even to a young Democrat such as myself.
Eventually, he said a number of things that turned me to his side. I'm thankful for his words and optimism. I can only marvel at the number of other people he's turned. I'm sure we're legion!
