"Foggy Bottom is riddled with liberals"

I agree and I've been saying that for a long time (a lot of Clintonistas there for starters), but many have said that it would be very difficult to do as a lot of the foggy bottom staffers are career folks and it's not easy to dump them (I don't know - just repeating what I've heard).

I hold to the opinion that the Taiwan issue will be a peaceful one where the U.S will allow it to go back to the mainland on a few conditions and stipulations. That China allow the freedom of expression (Human rights issue) and the other is "trade issues". But all-in-all, There will be a Unified Asian Continent along with the "America's" and a United Europe in the future. Its coming and expect nothing less than to "consolidate power"

I agree with you, at least large portions of the Southwest will become more culturally intune with Mexico, or vice-versa.

Goodbye Powell.

I hope we're luckier with the next SOS!

I don't get how to pair your post with your tagline. We need Rudy Giuliani (a liberal), but must stop Arlen Specter (a liberal).

Could you 'splain?

Dan

Rudy may be a social liberal, but for running State, you need somebody who understands what the Islamofascists are all about, and won't blanch at getting rid of Clinton holdovers who want to "understand" the terrorists.

Meanwhile, Specter put his foot in his mouth the day after the election by hinting that he would block conservative judges as head of the Judiciary.

IOW, Rudy gets it, Specter didn't, and may still not.
