Muslims: Not all bad. See several of my past posts on this thread, and praise for Muslims like Ibn Warraq and the folks on FaithFreedom.Org. I'm tired of repeating.
ISLAM: By Islam, I mean true Islam in the salafi sense. Pure unadulterated intolerant hatred - a vile ideology that believes in gender and religious apartheid, terrirotial conquest, genocide and global conquest as written in the suras of the Koran and sunna/hadiths. Evil ideology akin to fascism that the world will be better off without.
We should not confuse ISLAM with MUSLIM. (See my earlier reference on this thread to Ibn Warraqs book "Leaving Islam.") Happy?
I think Islam is modernizing and that is what the Wahabbis can't stomach.
That young Muslim convert from California that the Americans are so concerned about. He was turned in because the Imam of a mosque called the FBI.
It is the Muslims who have a lot to offer in the War on Terrorism. Provided we don't act like bigots and play into Osama's hands.
Personally, I think that Imams that call for Jihad in the pulpit should be arrested for solicitation of murder.

I spent over 5 years living and working in the mid-east.
What I found, was that there were many 'good' people, who were 'muslims'. I found some 'good muslims' who were also 'good people'. But mostly I found that these people were 'good people' in spite of their religion, Islam.
In my opinion. Islam does not lead to making people good. It leads to making good people 'bad'.
I feel sad for my Muslim friends, caught in this web of hate.
