'Fired up' Kerry returning to Senate Aides say he wants to act as counter to Bush Democrat John F. Kerry plans to use his Senate seat and long lists of supporters to remain a major voice in American politics despite losing the presidential race last Tuesday, and he is assessing the feasibility of trying again in 2008, friends and aides said yesterday. Kerry will attend a post-election lame-duck Senate session that begins next week and has said he is "fired up" to play a highly visible role, the friends and aides said. Aides said Kerry is relishing the prospect of renewed combat with President Bush, fighting such measures as the president's proposal to open the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling. Kerry has spent the better part of the past two years on the campaign trail, meaning that his return to Capitol Hill will be something of a reintroduction to colleagues.

What a bunch of crap. He has to be insane to think about running again. Undoubtedely he would give us 4 more years of flip-flops to talk about and of course we could go into his post-Vietnam activities. Don't tell the RATS, but they need to get this guy out of the party before it implodes!

Let him run again. The first time was tragedy. The second will be farce.

Let ol John Boy keep on digging. The hole is so deep now that the dirt is starting to cave in on top of him at a faster rate.

If he is now "all fired up", does this mean he may attend an actual session/meeting or two?

"I'm John Kerry...and I'm REPORTING FOR DUTY!"

It's a bit late for him to finally be fired-up, isn't it?

What a bunch of crap. He has to be insane to think about running again.

Think about it, it'll be a bloodbath between Dean, Kerry and Hillary for the nomination!

Are these left wing morons really stupid enough to consider "Lurch" again for President? The "Hildebeast" will have something to say about that. Let them rip each other to shreds...

Going back to the Senate after running for PResident is the biggest punishment this fraud can get. After flying under the Senate radar for 20 years, probably not showing up for weeks at a time so he could windsurf or ski, this man is now under the scrutiny of the national media. HE will be forced to perform, deliver and worst of all...show up.

My guess is he will drop off the radar when the Rockies get dumped on by the first huge snowstorm...

Does this mean that John F'ng Kerry is actually going to show up at the Senate? What a surprise! He will have to attend 50% more than normal to make up for being absent the last two years. Maybe the people from Massachusetts can start to feel they are getting their money's worth....or not.

With any luck he'll get a new office in the basement. And it will stop at every floor.

He might want to ask Algore, Fritz Mondale, and the Peanut Farmer exactly how successful they've been since they lost a White House run.

Get ready for 2 years of the most pro-military Senator this town has ever seen! (As he tries to correct a dismal 20-year career.)

Algore said the same crap, only he didn't have a lockbox to stick his job in while he was losing his arse on the campaign trail.

And, FWIW, Hanoi John sKerry never got a single vote. What he got was the anti-vote. He's toast.

Yeah, did'nt we hear about just how lazy he is? Cries about his hair brush, throws little temper tantrums when he has an accident, poor hen-pecked husband too. Sooo effective..
