Palestinian PM Nabil Shaath tells world media in Paris that poisioning and cancer have been ruled out as causes of Yassir Arafat's illness.
Bad health attributed to long incarceration at Ramallah HQ by Israeli army.
Announces presidential elections in 60 days with the legislature acting provisionally.
After 11 days, Paliestinians admit Arafat is on life support system.
Senior Muslim cleric Sheikh Tamimi is on way to Paris to administer last rites and oversee funeral arrangements.
The plan is now to bury Arafat is Ramallah and turn his headquarters into a mausoleum.

Yeah, I always thought last rites was a Catholic custom.

Of course the evil Joooos were at fault. He was not incarcerated. He was free to leave at any time, as he did last week. To say that choosing to remain is incarceration is as disingenouos as to say that blowing oneself up in order to kill others is martyrdom.
