The chance of a PS2 version isn't slim--it's zero. Halo is a franchise game. It was created to sell Xboxes. It'll NEVER be available for the PS2. Ever.
I know that you can play XBox games side-by-side with 2 XBoxes, 2 TVs, and 2 games. Does this work with Halo 1 and 2?
I don't yet own an Xbox, but will soon when Doom 3 is released for it. Right now I have 2 old Playstations linked to 2 TVs.
Split screen gaming sucks.
Good thing I already pre-ordered HL2 with Steam. ;) I think I will go off and play some Counterstrike:Source now.
There is ZERO things in Halo 2 that I found even remotely critical of anything current. It isn't a parable of one idealogy or another. There are no overtones politically or societally that I gathered.
I got the game at midnight during the launch craze (Probably 500 people showed up at the mall closest to my home.) played it for 6 hours and loved it. This game isn't preachy, it doesn't have a "message". If you really want to strech things out it may have a small critique of societal issues like the original Star Trek did but 90% of the game is picking up weapons and splattering aliens.
Great game!
Halo 2 is capable of 16 players at once.
All this game talk, and no one has mentioned the best game ever invented for computers: Far Cry!

Give it a play.
Make sure you tell him about Santa's naughty and nice list. LOL
Yeah, that's what they want you to think. You're falling right into the old globalist/illuminati "no such thing as conspiracy" trap. You have been warned my friend.
I like Halo1 & 2. Leave politics out of this and let me enjoy my game.
Actually, Sam Fisher's daughter said:
"What's so funny? You haven't laughed since Reagan was in office."
Exact or no, it was like that; nothing to do with being upset.
Ahh...Couldn't remember the exact details.Been awhile since I completed that one.Nice game though.
He has Halo for the PC and just couldn't wait. We're looking for him a used machine right now, cause he's buying it himself. He belongs to an after school strategy game club, and he brought it to school today so they can play this afternoon. He's so excited about it!
That's another one our son is waiting for! Is that gonna be a PC game? He's been reading about it being delayed because of hackers or something? He wasn't a happy camper!
The inspiration for Team America?
Through the first week I heard that Halo 2 has sales of 100 milion dollars. Thats incredible. Just as big as GTA: San Andreas.
