She has such a great show - smartest woman in America IMO.
Specter cannot get away with claiming that "it's the same people who ran against me in the primary" BS. He does that to remind people that he won, and to ignore the tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of Americans from all over the country who are opposing him as a judiciary committeeperson now. Laura just touched on that - Hannity completely let it slide yesterday!
John Warner of Virginia voted against him. The final vote was 58-42 when the dems had a 54 vote Majority so there were 4 Republican who voted against. They were probably Packwood and Hatfield of Oregon. Does anybody out there have a recap of the Bork Nomination vote?

Just called Senator Cornyn, and I have signed the online petition at stopspecter.com. Everyone needs to do their part; don't let up. What are they afraid of? Not being invited to all of the good parties? Make them do the right thing!

specter on the radio show yester was SHOCKED when hannity stated that he (specter) voted against Bork.
He said something to the effect of "How do you know? It was a voice vote with no record." He sounded VERY shocked about being pinned down like that.

Nah, I stream off the Internet (KSKY). Not much need for XM Satellite Radio in the Upper Midwest where AM signals travel for hundreds of miles.
oh and Larry Elder is on XM also
