It is hard to believe that the Democrats did not think that the Clinton fiascos would leave a lasting impression for years to come. Picture, again, Clinton's endless preparations for his lawsuits, his lying, and on and on and on. Then, again, remember his party standing behind him in impeachment telling the American people that Clinton's personal behavior did not matter, telling us what we should and should not think. You do not tell the American people how to think. And then, fast forward, to Kerry, Terreza, and "I have a plan (just not gonna splain what it is). They still don't get it.
I agree .. this whole decline of the dems began with the arrogance and total disregard for the law perpetrated by the Clinton cabal.
I remember the group gathering with Clinton after he was impeached. I remember Algore saying that Clinton would be remembered in history as one of America's "greatest presidents". I almost threw up.
The other thing a lot of people are not aware of is a little event which took place before the election in 1992. It seems that GHW Bush had sent Baker to Israel to tell Israel that America was not going to guarantee the loans Israel wanted to borrow in order to provide for the millions of Jews who were going to be migrating from Russia; even though the guarantee was NOT a monatary guarantee.
Enter Bill Clinton - several weeks before the election, he was called to the bedside of a Baptist preacher friend - who was dying. During this meeting, Clinton was told by the preacher that HE MUST SUPPORT ISRAEL .. NO MATTER WHAT. And .. if Clinton would swear on a Bible to do that, Clinton could win the election. According to the information, Clinton did just that .. and of course he won the election.
What a lot of non-Christian people don't understand is that GOD will give people every chance to prove themselves. Clinton was handed a golden opportunity to do the right thing .. he not only didn't do that .. he just continued to have scandal after scandal. Clinton also allowed his cabal to ravage America.
Rush took a poll one year after Clinton was impeached to guage America's opinion of impeachment, and the results were absolutely STUNNING. During impeachment, the MSM were constantly in our face saying that 75% of the American people did not want Clinton removed from office. However, what the MSM has never come to grips with (and never informed the public about) is that just one short year later, that very same 75% of the American people - now believed Clinton SHOULD have been removed from office.
This opinion remained as the Clintons left the WH and STOLE precious items which did not belong to them. It was also learned that the Clintons had told family members to get a big truck and make tracks for the storage units all over DC and help themselves of the govt property which was stored there [fortunately they didn't succeed in being able to pull off this theft of govt property - but the public was aware they tried]. Then Clinton made all those disgusting pardons for the worst of the criminals.
I believe too that this STAIN on the presidency has left a lasting mark - a mark which the MSM/dems have never acknowledged. Because .. to acknowledge it is to admit the MSM/dems were wrong about supporting and covering up for Clinton. We see the same thing with Kerry .. none of the MSM/dems will admit Kerry was a terrible and extremely flawed candidate.
When will the dems come to their senses (if they ever will) is beyond knowing. The Zell Miller dems may (with Zell's direction) begin a new movement within the dem party which could finally rid it of the Clinton cabal. I wish them luck; they'll need it.
