but what does that have to do with the decision of the XYZ Company to have a Holiday party instead of a Christmas party?

I used to work at a law firm that had a holiday party. We exchanged presents, drank, ate, etc. No one cared what the thing was called. It was a day to party on company time.

Because XYZ Company has surrendered to those who want to diminish a culture that cherishes Christmas. The only official holiday in December is Christmas. What is the problem with celebrating IT?
