Specter has been considerably weakened by conservatives voicing their opinions. He is on record as saying he will get all of Bushs appointees a vote. We should declare victory and move on.
I am not only fine with that, I hope that conservatives will continue to keep the heat on Frist. Since Frist is running for President, we should raise expectations of how he and Specter are gonna deliver on judges... and raise the ante if we have to, from time to time.
