Halo sucked.Considering it's going to be the same DEV team, I can't imagine Halo2 will be any better.

Alright, I'm a big fan of Halo 1, and I've read the three books based on the storyline. (got a thing for military science fiction) I've spent most of the day playing Halo 2, and there is ZERO political references. So far it does not portray Humans as aggressors at all. After hours of playing the game the only political reference I could possibly find is in the begining a reference was made to a "Star Wars" style orbital defense grid around Earth, and how there used to be political opposition to it. So that would be a nod to the military benefits and necessity of SDI and where we'd be if we listened to the liberals. And the religious themes of the game are unrelateable to either Islam or Christianity. Also, this isn't another version of Ender's Game.

Well, it's been a few months, and I think the game has proven that there was no political message hidden in it. I've played through it several times, so it would appear that, for the last 2 1/2 months, some apologies have been overdue.

I suggest instead you get Star Wars "Knights of the Old Republic" (Part I) at Walmart for $20.00. GREAT GAME at a GOOD DEAL!!!!

Actually, if you believe in Manifest Destiny, this could be a good thing. The aliens due to their corrupt, violent form of civilization deserved to be wiped out much like Islamicism.

Lol, it could be seen that way, if Mattis had said that before October, when the game went gold. If that were indeed the case, I'd have to pick up another copy.
