Documents: U.S. had plan to nuke N. Korea

Seoul, South Korea, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Newly declassified documents revealed the United States planned as recently as 1998 to drop nuclear bombs on North Korea if the country attacked South Korea.

As part of "scenario 5027," 24 F15-E bombers flew simulation missions at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina to drop mock nuclear bombs on a firing range between January and June 1998, the Korea Times reported Sunday.

Another political angle to this is that the Dems are going to try showing those red state war mongers(!) that they have it in them to take care of enemies.

Don't be surprised if we suddenly see all manner of tough stances that Clinton took but never implemented to show that the anti military leftists are tough on terror.

Even big companies have contingency plans for various types of circumstances, including some very unlikely but disastrous ones.

Had it not had contingency plans and backup sites ready, Wall Street would never have managed to get back up on its feet so quickly after the World Trade Center attack.
