Kathryn Jean Lopez, who writes for
National Review including its Corner online blog (click to go there), sais that
we must keep the pressure on.
Senate staffers have told Lopez, whose comments sometimes appear under "KJL," that the only way that Specter can be blocked is by forcing the Senate through messages (phone, fax, email, letters) to the Senate. It will take a firestorm of polite, but firm, input to the Senate.

Once again:
It is much more important for the Senate to change the rules to allow "advise and consent" to be advise and consent --free of an arbitrary 60% cloture rule.
