I had no idea there was a problem with a left wing press in Israel!

You're joking of course.

The entire Israeli media, with the single exception of Arutz Sheva, is rabidly left-wing. Even the Jerusalem Post has moved further to the left since a recent change of management.

What is worse, the government has been trying to shut down Arutz Sheva for "incitement" (i.e. telling Israelis the truth about the "peace process")

"You're joking of course."

No, actually, I wasn't, and I'll bet I'm not the only one who is unaware of this.

With those same newspapers taking pictures of blown up school buses with dismembered bodies, I can't imagine them being leftist!

Has the whole world gone insane?

Actually, the same thing happened in America during the Clinton years. I made it a point to grab the complete text of the "PROJECT MEGIDDO" document issued by the then led Freeh/Reno FBI as a perfect example of a leftist administration demonizing a whole segment of their society for political purposes.

PROJECT MEGIDDO

I believe this document was instrumental in waking up the Evangelical/Christian community to the deterioration in the political arena—putting them right in the cross-hairs. Fortunately this nation is starting to wake up, as evidenced in the results of the recent election.
