The existence of any such tribunal implicitly (or maybe explicitly) redefines what would otherwise be acts of war as criminal act to be adjudicated by the UN.

The existence of any such tribunal implicitly removes the right of any country to defend itself against acts of terror.

I expect the UN to jump all over this as a means of standing between the coalition and those who attack it.

I will never recognize the authority of an international body to try people for crimes committed in the US or for crimes committed against US citizens.

This appears to be a plea for help from people who don't want help from us. It is good to see that they recognize THEIR problem. It is unfortunate they are not attempting to take matters into their own hands in their own countries. Even they will eventually regret subordinating themselves to "international law"
