Are immigrants Americans or lobbyists?

Moran said what he said likely understanding that he had the backing of the large number of Muslims and other minorities living in his district. Sure, he went through the motions of apologizing afterwards, but I don't know that he spoke unintentionally when he criticized Jewish influence. Seems a bit calculated...

If you'd like to be on this middle east/political ping list, please FR mail me.

Rosenberg obtained funding from AIPAC, a strong Jewish lobby in Washington, and ran a dirty primary campaign against Moran, said Farsakh

If true, Farsakh should contact his local FBI office, he'll put AIPAC out of business for making illegal campaign contributions.

Anyone interested can find the details of Moran's $1.4 million in contributions and Rosenberg's$415,000 by clicking the links.

Farsakh is a liar.

In case anyone didn't note it, the whine is about Moran's primary opponent, not Lisa Cheney who he defeated last week.

"If it were not for the strong support of the Jewish community for this war with Iraq, we would not be doing this,” Moran said. "The leaders of the Jewish community are influential enough that they could change the direction of where this is going, and I think they should." Moran, a seven-term Congressman, apologized the next day, saying, "I made some insensitive remarks that I deeply regret."
This pro-terrorist ******* should have been censured at the time he made that statement, and should have been rejected by the voters.

Moran cashes in on the old "blame the Jews for everything" cheap shot to score brownie points with Arabs.

“But I don’t think the Jews are finished with him yet."

That statement says it all. Jewish Democrats really ought to reconsider their allegiance to a party that is being hijacked by people who have brought with them the anti-semitic attitudes of their homelands. Our country's changing demographics mean that the Democratic Party is going to be the anti-Israel party very soon.
