My comments: "Bush is a competent leader fighting the IslamoFascist terrorists, and seeking true reform at home. Kerry is a narcissistic, amoral, grandiose, opportunistic fraud and charlatan."

Didn't want P-Diddy/Talk-Shitty/Bite-Tiddy or anyone of that ilk to be appointed Secretary of State, or anything else in the US Government.

Given Kerry's history of anti-Americanism, pacifism and waffling, I could not vote for him. Given his refusal to take a coherent position on the Iraq war, I could not vote for him. Given his refusal to back democracy in Iraq, I could not vote for him. I did not trust John Forbes Kerry with our national security. That trumped everything else.

But if you want, you can say I voted for Bush because of gay marriage, if it makes you feel morally/intellectually superior to me.

He came closest to representing my own views though he is considerably more bound by pragmatism and moderation than I am as a citizen.

I also happen to think God gave him to us as the right man at the right time.

He was/is the best person for the job: a) Proven success in war against terrorists b) Successful economic recovery springing from well timed tax cuts c) Trustworthy individual with track record of service to his state and the nation (Sharply contrasts from the other candidate whose record of toadying to the VietCong was shameful.)

Because my father is also my uncle and I have no front teeth, I'm married to my brother pregnant 15 times since the age of 12, I can't read or write, and I sit around all day long with a beer can in hand and remote control in the other, pulling my too-small shirt in vain over my pendulous beer gut, having my mind controlled with the energy waves sent from Fox News.

Don't waste your time, people. The BBC will only show the most extreme comments and make Bush-voters look like idiots.

this constant sterotyping Bush supporters is the usual leftist elitism and narcissism.

On my block here in Nashville, Bush carried about 70% I'd wager.

Among those...all had college degrees including post grads and JDs and MDs and PHDs.....and all are what would be considered upper middle class I reckon.

Only a few hunt like me. About 1/3 are Yankees who moved here either because they like it or work.

Of the Kerry supporters, they were more likely to be housewives or Yankees (urban) or Kali and the education level was actually a hair lower.

If one looks at who overwhlemingly votes for the Dems it is the least educated and poor segments of society across the board excluding the usual Jewish vote.

I do not know how the Asian vote went down but given the clustering of Asians in urban areas, I'd wager they went Dem.....excluding Asians who fled tyranny like Southeast Asia etc.

I bet median education is higher actually amongst W voters..

or, as the BBC editorial staff wanted to phrase it "Why on earth did you vote for that idiot?".

Found it revealing that the BBC allowed several comments from those who clearly didn't vote for Bush. I guess they just empathized so much they felt they had to post them.

I've tried dozens of times to get my comments posted on the BBC site but somehow they never get through the "moderation process". Maybe need to stop using phrases like "Stick this up your terrorist-loving a#*holes you f?¤@whits".....

Normally, I wouldn't respond to something like that BBC comment board but, I couldn't resist:

Everything you need to know about why we voted for Bush, we already told you....in 1776.

Get a clue.

I voted for Bush because a vote for Kerry would have endorsed Protestors Without Pants. I saw those people and they are WAAAAY too ugly to be missing ANY part of clothing.

I voted for the guy with the balls. Brass ones to be exact. Reason we whuped you during the Revolution and again in 1812. If you'd messed with Texas back then, one time would have been sufficient. Don't ever mess with a Texan.
