When Hollywood realizes that their job is to entertain and not to sway public sentiment, they will get back to making real movies with some quality content. They just dont get why the Passion, Shrek, Nemo et al are so popular.

To be blunt, I'm not much tempted. I'm just not that jazzed by movie after movie trying desperately to prop up great, fabricated values of Christless Christmas. The real reason is the better reason, the real story the better story, and the rationales for displacing Him are all destructive.

I've been giving a lot of thought to "retro" this week. The amazing success of Chrysler with the P.T. Cruiser, 300 and the Magnum wagon which are a throwback to the days of style over convention have convinced me that America is ready for more of the same in the other venues of living.

I guess my point is that this will not be a Christmas classic as you say, because there is no Christ in it - only Santa Claus, and the libs are doing their best to keep him and dump Christ, while still getting our ticket money. I'll be shocked if the word "Christmas" is attached to this production in any way, shape or form.
