I am coming more and more into agreement that Toomey should have been the candidate.

All he had to do is win the primary, and then win against a socialist POS in the Philadelphia area that went 4 to 1 for Kerry. Maybe you could have moved up here from Texas and voted for Toomey.

It is most likely that people would be sitting around this board lamenting that Hoeffle is Pa's new senator.

Finally, a voice of sanity emerges... That is almost certainly what would have happened. To much emotion here, not enough rational thought. Specter is better than the alternative would have been... another commielib.

Not sure I follow the logic. Hoeffel received only 42% of the vote in PA. Given the fact that Bush lost narrowly, and PA has already sent Rick Santorum to DC, I think the most likely scenario is a Toomey win.

I am not leaving Texas period lol.

I have lived other places and was born in Louisiana but consider Texas my home like George W. Bush does.
