Bush used him where Bush felt he would be most effective. I think Bush learned his lesson from 2000 when he spent millions of dollars in CA and time there late in the campaign and still lost it. Bush didn't even try in 2004. A wise decision.

I understand that logic, but it still doesn't explain why they didn't use ads Arnold already taped. In a state that had finally had it with the Gray Davis democrats running this state in the ground, I believe Arnold owed it to the party that put him in the Gov's seat, to run those ads and support the President... My gripe is with Arnold's words and deeds with respect to CA. To give less than his full effort just isn't "Arnold like". Hopefully, the full story will be told at some point.
