"The Kerry endorsement was a bold move for a paper dependent on local advertising income."

The Kerry endorsement was a stupid move for a paper dependent on local advertising.

How stupid can these liberals get? In Crawford Texas, home of beloved George Bush, of all places?

Oh, it gets even better. Not to be outdone, The Waco Tribune Herald also endorsed Kerry. Then this morning they ran an article advocating the President put his library in Waco on the Baylor campus. Ignorant and arrogant. Perhaps the President will suggest they put the Kerry campaign archives on the Baylor campus. I canceled my subscription.

Even the Houston Chronicle, lying through its teeth, gave a tepid endorsement of Bush over Kerry.

The paper didn't have to endorse anyone. It's decision to endorse Kerry was akin to charging a machine gun nest alone and without any covering fire.

I've maintained that the difference between bravery and foolishness is thin, and only decided by the results of the actions.
