This guy is seriously disturbed. I hope he retains leadership in the black community just long enough to drive all sane blacks into the Republican party.

Maybe Jesse should give the Dems some pointers on shaking down voters. He has plenty of shakedown expirience in other fields.

Allegations of voter suppression has become an election day tradition. The only one who still believe it actually happens is the good 'ol Reverend himself. What an idiot.

I agree. If he'd held out longer he could have completely destroyed his party instead of stopping halfway.

The "Rev." Jesse Jackson is nothing more than a pimp who does nothing of substance for his own people. He wants his social pulpit from which he can spew his garbage and have his ego massaged.

> Rev. Jackson said, "Mr. Kerry has conceded too quickly."

The odd thing is that this is exactly the posture that the
Kerry Kamp was taking in the two-week period prior to the
election - that they were not going to make the Gore
"mistake" - they might even claim victory regardless of
the counts.

So why did Kerry back off?

- worried about his own senate seat in '08. He could

clearly see there wasn't much hope of reversing OH.
Did someone threaten to unleash his USN and/or FBI
files if he made a stink?

- the DNC told him a legal fight would expose OH Dem fraud
(or fraud in any number of other places)

- the DNC told him, go right ahead, but YOU have to pay the
lawyers, because the Clintons are satisfied with you as the
Designated Loser, and have closed the DNC purse

One of the funniest radio bits ever was this weekly segment run by this duo in LA called "What the H*** did Jesse Jackson Say", where they would play bits of Jesse Jackson speeches and see if the listeners could accurately interpret Jesse's mangled English. Some of the audio clips were absolutely unintelligible.

"Can you imagine a group of black challengers going into the white community in the polling place challenging their vote on election day?" he asked, and then said, "The struggle for a fair vote count is not over."

Wel, yes, actually I can. I mean, we're ALL just people, right? So why would that be problematic? Sheesh...and he has the nerve to call others racist! What an ass!

Nah. He doesn't believe it either. But he can't afford to stop talking about it...because, otherwise, his gravy train might come to a quick stop.

And, as you can imagine, that could make quite a mess...

what did the Republicans do something really horrible to suppress the vote like, oh I don't know, slash all the tired for say 30 vans that were going to be used for get out the vote efforts, cause that would be pretty sever voter intimidation/suppression.

Rev. Jackson said he considers the GOP poll challengers, who targeted heavily-Democratic precincts in Ohio, to be blatantly racist.

The challengers could be asked to leave if they were disruptive.

We cannot forsake the South

The Northeastern liberals despise the South and Southerners, it's no surprise what happened.

Democrats should compete by promising to seek improvements in such areas as wages, health care and other economic issues

I thought thats exactly what they did.

I wish he'd stick to consoling adulterers like Clinton rather then spreading his racial hate messages.

Jesse is one of the friends that the liberals need to lose if they are ever going to get anywhere, not that anything they do will make any difference.

Apparently it will be a long drive. It appears that except for a few localities precious few blacks that voted blue in 2000 switched to red on 2004. We seem to be dealing with an intractably liberal demographic segment.

OMG! I agree with Jesse Jackass!
