SPRINGFIELD, IL-

The State Supreme Court has allowed a woman who served a prison term in Florida for the death of her child to regain custody of a 3year old boy after she moved to Illinois.

The case stems from the 1989 death of Hardy's 2 year old son Bradley McGee in Florida. Hardy testified that she smoked a cigarette while her former husband Thomas Coe punished the boy for soiling his pants by lifting him by his ankles and repeatedly dunking him in a toilet. Bradley died the next day of head injuries. A medical examiner counted more than 90 cuts and bruises on the boy.

Bradley admitted she had abused Bradley including forcing him to eat his own feces.

She was convicted of second degree murder. Coe was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.

"Parental rights and responsibilites are of deep human importance and will not be lightly or easily terminated," the court said.

After the appelate ruling, Randy Hardy took custody of his son and Sheryl Hardy was given unlimited supervised time with the boy.

Then what the hell would it take? Does anyone know the names of the judges involved, which court, case citation, etc., and how Ill. votes on judges? This stuff needs to be tracked.

We're a blue state. Liberal, corrupt and doomed, unless something drastic happens. That poor, poor child.

The Court That Cut the Baby in Half
By Dennis Prager
LOS ANGELES TIMES MAY 16, 1996

...Every society has evil within it. What distinguishes civilized from less-civilized societies is the way in which its leadership acts. What most signified the descent of Germany into evil was not the presence of Nazis in the streets; it was the presence of Nazis on its judicial benches. When judges do evil, society is doomed.

History will note that in the state of Illinois in April of 1995, judges Supreme Court judges; committed evil. They didn't merely make a mistake or take a controversial stand. They actually did evil. They destroyed a perfectly innocent child's life in the name of law.

On April 30, a 4-year-old boy was taken from the only parents he ever had, from his brother, the only sibling he ever had, from the only home and room he ever had, and given over to a man whom he has never seen, solely because that man's sperm helped conceive this child.

That's why we have to look to the future and get organized now. We have a huge job ahead of us. I'm not in a position to flee to a red state, so I have to try to survive in this blue one.

Why should we just lay down and take it? There are state elections coming up in two years, and these should be quite interesting. Check out the Illinois board for more information!
