Magic Johnson announced he has had the HIV virus back in 1991. He is still alive and doing quite well so far.
True. But outside of his AIDS, he is and has been a relatively healthy person in general. Athletes tend to have better eating and excercising habits as well as better immune systems to begin with.
HIV is not AIDS and many HIV positive people never develop AIDS, esecially if they clean up their lives.
