DU doesn't represent the majority of rank and file Democrats any more than David Duke represents the majority of Republicans.

In truth, I'd never heard of DU until I started posting on FR. What I've seen of it doesn't interest me. (This is the first time I've actually bothered to go over and see what they're saying) Looks like a bunch of spoiled cretins with too much time on their hands.

My initial instinct about DU looks to have been about right. If this is typical of DU, then I have nothing in common with their beliefs, and no interest in what they have to say. Lyndon LaRouche proved that any kook can call themselves a Democrat. These folks seem to have taken that philosophy to it's lunatic extreme.

I agree with you: I wouldn't waste the time on posting at DU. However, don't make the mistake of tarring all Democrats with the same brush.

Plenty of good Dems out there. I used to think they outnumbered the wackos, but I'm not too sure anymore. And that really has nothing to do with this particular DU posting.

btw, notice the European spelling of "honour" rather than "honor"? Just another little clue as to where their true loyalties lie.
