Gloating is just rubbing salt in wounds. I'm content to rejoice for our deliverance and buying some time.

There is much to be done, and the democrats still have so many of the young in their camp.

We need to keep looking forward. The young who voted for Kerry and worked so hard for him will be turned off by rubbing salt in their wounds. Like the Swiftvets, they will await their turn for vengeance.

We still need to be very concerned that traditional values have not taken hold with significant numbers the younger generation, even the ones who are trying really hard to be personally responsible.

Kerry was right about one thing. Help was on the way. We do need to try to work together and back off intense hate rhetoric.

the democrats still have so many of the young in their camp.

But they didn't increase in the voting!

They did NOT turn out in RECORD NUMBERS, as the dems thought they would.

MANY more of the young, registered but never went to the voting booth to cast votes for the dems.

They only got the same about of the youth to the polls as in 2000. 17-24% (I think that's what's been said on the networks.) NO INCREASE in younger voters turned out.
