There's so much being said about Red vs. Blue states, it's beginning to sound as though the red states are comprised entirely of neanderthal, bible-thumping rednecks, and the blue states are comprised entirely of the intellectual, all-knowing, global-aware elites. Well, I did a summary of the Blue states and it turns out that 24,839,492 bible-thumping neanderthals from those states voted for George W. Bush. In looking at the Blue states, they comprise most of the largest cities in the country Los Angeles, New York, Detroit, etc., i.e., the government handout crowd coupled with their liberal sympathizers. In D.C., George got less than 10% of the vote! The welfare crowd sure knows where their checks come from!
At any rate, here's the summary for the 20 Blue states:
George W. Bush: 24,839,492.....45.27%
John F. Kerry: 30,023,917.....54.73%
Here's a site of the electoral map. Just place your cursor on any state and see the voting results of that state appear on the left side of the screen:
If you look at a county map of Michigan, you just have to wonder how we ended up in the blue state category.
I think theres an explaination hidden in here. http://www.nationalreview.com/battleground/battleground.asp
Plus, a majority of Catholics and white males.
WITH ABSOLUTELY NO CAMPAIGNING DONE BY THE PRESIDENT OR HIS SURROGOTES!
Pretty impressive, if you ask me.
Like this one?
Drat it. I've been searching for a link that shows the nation's results by county. (a red/blue map) Can't find it.
I heard USAtoday had one but since they've dumped it for the statebystate one.
Any help?
On election night Michigan was showing Bush with a 3 to 5 point lead with over 70% of precincts reporting.
We really need some sunlight in those democrat controlled precincts in Detroit. In 2000 poll and count watchers complained that there wasn't even any attempt to hide the fraud.
Would the State Republicans be looking into Wayne County and possible fraud?
You know there was something up when the networks called Michigan late into the night (after calling it within about 15 minutes after poll closings in 2000). Oakland is another interesting county. It had Bush up 3-5 all night and somehow the last 25% that reported flipped it to a narrow Kerry victory. If we were sitting with a precinct map it might be obvious why this happened but if that's the case I think it would have been obvious to the networks much earlier too.
That is the one I had heard about and was looking for.
Thank you my friend.
