We both can agree that there are things that GWB has done that give pause, but overall, he has vision.
I think that vision is what has unhinged the left. They can't challenge what he has begun without giving away their stance as Marxists. Hence the namecalling and insane hate. They slather and drool with it.

Absolutely. But I'm not sure that everyone who voted for him agrees with this statement.
"They slather and drool with it."
I think that's a key part of what the author is saying. And that regular Americans reacted to that liberal perspective, and many were persuaded to vote for President Bush as a result of it.
Is it universally true? No. But is it a good observation, along with many other good observations in this piece? I think so.
