You obviously don't know me. I've know and spoken with many Muslims, for many years. I've met moderate ones, nonpracticing ones, devout ones and wild-eyed fanatical ones.
It's the fanatics that will cut your head off, or fly planes into skyscrapers, trust me on this one. And they don't send Christmas cards, either.
I wouldn't disagree with that. We have the mosque here in Falls Church where two fo the hijackers hung out with the Imam. He knew them in California. This Imam played the moderate but when the FBI cottoned on to him he ran to Yemen. The airplane that hit the Pentagon went right by my Arlington classroom and we all heard it.
So I know there are the bad guys who play the moderates.
Still, even most Muslims who like OBL don't stoop to terrorism personally.
I want to crush the terrorists, but at the same time not trash Islam. I think it is stupid. It is smarter to notice what they do that is right and make them feel some pride about that. We need to get the terrorists and work on the hearts and minds.
You're right. Maybe if you had an 'about page' I'd have it easier, but all you're giving me is your posts (i.e. "Death to Iran!"). Give me a little help here because from what I see in your posts is that since you've met some idiot Moslems, you're willing to treat them all like terrorists.
Agreed, there are some who interpret the Koran as requiring mass murder (you and the terrorists seem agree on that). Me and most Moslems don't. There're some who interpret the Bible as calling for mass murder-- in recent memory some even put crosses on their armaments and carried out the deed. If we can all agree that them kind were perverting the Bible, why can't we be as understanding with others too?
