Other than creating an electoral safety margin for 2008, the primary issue isn't turning further states red, it's getting 60 solid red state senators. If and when that happens, all hell is going to break loose with the left.
They're already bitching that Bush isn't surrendering to them fast enough and they're royally pissed they lost. The next two years should be fun.
