Any chance of him getting more than community service?

This is what we are up against.

This is what the democrats are up against. Kerry is trying to be nuanced and they cannot even get down the basis. Violent crimes against persons and property are the oldest laws on the books, but when tire-slashing is a misdemeanor, but dumping a load of dirt on a marshy spot on your lot is a felony crime against the environmnet, then there are no laws.

In that part of Milwaukee, that was his community service.

" Funny they don't mention tire-slashing."

That's included under empowerment. Arrest and front page publicity is covered under exposure.

You dont need to tell me, I know that. I still cant gather how the hell Boxer and Frankenstein get re-elected here ever 6 years. I know no one who votes for them on the democratic side, yet they always seem to manage

I'd guess its the pinholed ballots. It's the hatpins- great for multiple voting in urban districts. The Democrats always used hatpins to punch fraudulent ballots in Illinois [and in Florida until lately]- I used to work the elections there and for a while we were required to punch the chads out of pinholed ballots so the machines could count them. If you objected you would be accused of racism, or "disenfranchisement" because the Democrats always pinholed ballots in minority areas. (After all, not many farmers in Illinois need hatpins to keep their ballcaps in place.) Maybe Illinois still does count pinholed ballots- though at one point they finally threw out pinholed and other damaged ballots. Given the way Illinois has gone in recent years though, it would not be surprising if the libs have probably repealed that law and made pinholed ballots "legit" again.

The Democrats used hatpins to punch multiple ballots [a stylus is WAY too short] whenever they needed the votes to beat the opposition. On occasion they did it to other Democrats in tight races and did it to us all the time. I guess they used pins because because they are long and thin enough to go through several ballots at a time and make vote-fabrication less time consuming. They would still be late getting the ballots to the counting center. Pinhole districts were ALWAYS Democrat, were ALWAYS high-crime or union thug precincts where we had no local GOP volunteers to watch the polls, and the ballots were ALWAYS late being returned because it takes time for even the least guarded and fastest rat to fake enough votes to put a candidate over the legit vote tally of his opponent. The pinholes favored Rat candidates when tallied.

Sometimes the crooks would be in such a hurry to punch enough ballots that they'd get sloppy and the pins would veer off the mark as they passed through the stack, making it look like a lot of voters were drunk, or were just idiots who didn't know how to put a ballot in a slot. (The Democrats depend, as we saw in 2000 in Fl, on the perception that their voters are dumber and more accident prone than everyone else to get away with the Democrat voting scams. )The counting judges of the contending parties have to guess which chad the crooks were aiming for and "correct" the vote and agree to count it, but this is meaningless since the crime was already done BEFORE the ballot made it to the counters. because the pinholed chads are punched out by elections officials, this means that the pinholed ballots seldom were incriminating because the evidence- the fact they were pinholed- was destroyed when the chads were removed during the 'correction' at the counting office. The only way to tell if the ballot had been tampered with was in the case where pinholes veered and missed a chad.

The best way to prevent this is to avoid using the card ballots or at least to get good elections judges/deputies to watch precincts and insure voters know how to vote so the Dems can't use stereotyping to cover for their fraud.

"I have some unusual offspring when you look at the data and statistics that are out there. I have two sons, one is 25 and one will be 27 this month. They are drug- and alcohol-free. They don't have jail records. This is a success story for me." Gwen quote in Journal Times

Sorry Gwen! Better strike that speech come time for reelection!

OK, found this info........

Cream City Mentors Embrace Community Youth

The outside looks like any other house, but to Riverwest youth, The Street Academy of Cream City Mentors Incorporated is home. Located at 2438 N. Bremen Street, the Cream City Mentors is run by Supreme Solar Allah, 23; Self Wise Allah, 24; Universal Knowledge Allah, 25; and Charles Dennis, 50.

“Our program is based on a sincere love for seeing people succeed and overcoming challenges and obstacles in their lives,” Self Wise said.

While the Cream City Mentors group was established in 1999, the group of young black males, (although Self Wise is bi-racial), has always been involved with neighborhood children.

Spending time with children through one-on-one activity, both academic and social, allows the mentors to explore and uncover the needs of the Riverwest youth they work with, Self Wise said. The mentors help with schoolwork, act as tutors, plan trips, and share wisdom with these individuals. The depth of their community involvement eventually led to the development of the Cream City Mentors organization.

Their names are as unique as the miracles produced by the non-profit mentorship program. “Our names are reflective of our culture…our way of life,” Supreme Solar said. “We each chose our own names for personal and specific reasons that reflect how we view ourselves.”

The organization reaches out to children in two age brackets: 12-14 and 15-17. “The age groups are divided because teenagers are on different levels,” Self Wise said. “Younger teens are still sorting things out for themselves, while older teens are going through a transition to adulthood.”

The Cream City Mentors have three main goals: Citizenship, Exposure, and Empowerment. “The goal of citizenship is to get young individuals to recognize they are citizens and they have rights and responsibilities,” Supreme Solar said. “We want to teach them they can utilize the government to improve their lives because that’s the way it was set up for them.”

Their second goal, exposure, is to introduce the youth to a world outside their immediate surroundings and allow them to explore other communities through trips to a number of places throughout Milwaukee, such as the Art Museum and Black Holocaust Museum.

Their final goal, empowerment, addresses the importance of self-esteem, recognition of individual talents, and knowledge of self. Through that knowledge, young people can take control of their lives and work to improve their situations.

In addition to these goals, the mentors promote guidance, friendship, creativity, self-confidence, and positivity to enhance the life of the community.
