High School Students Camp Out To Protest Bush Boulder High Students Say They're Acting Out Lessons Learned In Civics Class
BOULDER, Colo. -- About 70 high school students who say they are upset about the direction the nation is heading camped out in the school library Thursday night, demanding a visit from Republican Party leaders.
Students began their protest Thursday night and stayed through Friday morning, when Democratic congressman, U.S. Rep. Mark Udall, visited with them for more than an hour.

Duplicate post...though the other one is Channel 9's version of events.
I would send them a visit - a visit from the local SWAT team, complete with tear gas.
I read The Federalist Papers when I was in Civics class in 1973...I didn't know they are now teaching camping.
At least they recognized that the election was won fair and square.
anything to get out of class on a friday :)
My wife went to this high school years ago and confirms that they are all liberal wack jobs.
She escaped and developed into a nice conservative Republican, thank you very much! (a job, marriage, children, growing a brain - these things all helped).
Isn't "student worker" an oxymoron?
They're camped out in a library. Who wants to bet they brought electronic games, CD players, cell phones, etc. to occupy their time? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Why aren't these students outraged at the number of murders committed under Roe v.Wade?
Why aren't they outraged that the majority of them come from broken or "blended" families?
Why aren't they outraged over AIDS?
Why aren't they outraged over the last 30 years of moral decline in this country??
They need to shut up and go to school, when they are in the "real world" and of age they can vote.
SEND IN JANET RENO!!!!
Let them go naked. At least the children.
Watch out for that late night tinkle, you might hit the electric fence!
Why doesn't the parents of the republican students file suit against those kids, the principal and the school district? Denying them the use of the lbrary.
It's getting ridiculous when a bunch of children think they can do or control anything they want just because they don't like what someone else has legally done.
They'll get bored soon enough. Teens don't have long attention spans.
Anybody who claims to be a "student worker" is just a moron, not an oxymoron.
If any one remembers the 60's movie 'The Strawberry Statement' - they'll recognize the same underlying motivation for these students as the motivation that drove the 'students' in that movie.
HINT: It has to do with raging teenage hormone!
Oops!! Hormone = Hormones!!
Or... some teachers will go to avoid teaching.
