I was sort of shocked to see Oakland Co. going for Kerry while Macomb went for Bush, expected the opposite. I wonder why?

I forgot to add the returns from the City of Plymouth which Bush won by 5 votes: 2,557 to 2,552!

As for Canton and Plymouth Townships; I see Plymouth as being more uniformly white collar. Athough Canton now has some huge expensive subdivisions, it may have a larger blue collar and union component. This is just my guess. Also, Canton may have a larger Arab population, but I have no idea how that might have figured in to the numbers.

I'm not surprised there. Most of the republicans there know you or someone that knows you out there. Add the anti-Kilpatrick vote (Detroit workers especially), and that is two advantages.

I went to UofM for undergrad and I still bleed Maize and Blue, but I am a 3rd year med student at the school up the road, MSU.. Sorry, btw I am interested in Radiology.
