I would imagine it is devastating to kill part of yourself. Abortion to me is a murder of your soul. It's a killing of something powerful given to you by our creator. At the same time, I believe a woman should choose what to do according to her beliefs and her conscious and keep government out of it. I also believe people who don't want kids should feel free to choose not to have them. Not everybody is up to the awesome responsibility of raising children. It should be left to professionals. I'd even go so far as to require parenting licenses.

Huh? What happened to liberty? A better approach would be to promote a cultural norm in which people assume they need to develop themselves and their understanding of how to raise children, BEFORE they have children. Currently, the cultural norm seems to be, if you're married it's time to have babies, even if you're still immature and irresponsible yourself. Many people imagine that having children will cure immaturity and irresponsibility, but usually it doesn't, and when it does, it's usually only at a huge and irreversible cost to the children involved.
