On election night I attended a GOP victory party for the volunteers in West Palm Beach, and as we watched and waited for the Ohio results, I kept remembering reading your posts here on FR, in which you kept assuring us that GWB was going to win in Ohio.
I don't know you personally, but I knew from your posts that you were very active up there and had your finger on the pulse, so to speak. It gave me great comfort. So even though I went home and fell asleep before Ohio was officially called for President Bush, I just knew he would win it.
Thanks for all the encouragement you were putting out there!

You two warm our hearts- you've no idea how many times in the last four years untold numbers of us would have a glimpse through pictures of you together and thank GOD you're there.

Everyone I worked with felt the same way. When we made the calls, went door to door, and just observed the number of yard signs and bumper stickers, and felt the enthusiasm of people who have never been particularly political before, we just KNEW there was no way Kerry could take this bellweather state.
And because of that, we knew that he would take the nation. And he DID!
