there were widespread reports, from Nevada to Florida, of guys in very bad drag shouting “Gay marriage!” holding pro-gay-marriage signs, and accosting voters outside polling stations.

"Very bad" drag? costumes? I guess this fairy is an expert on quality drag costumes.

And unless Democrats wake up to Frank's message, and develop a populist strategy to defang the anti-gay crusaders,

What kind of "populist" strategy?

"Hi, I'm Farmer Bill. I like football and the Bible... and I'm a fag."

like Rush just said: When is the gay community going to stand up and say, Don't use us as the reason your candidate
lost.

ROFL!

They'll never understand that the 11 amendments nationwide weren't about homosexuals - they were about marriage.

We didn't vote "against" gays.

We voted against gay marriage and activist courts.

I really couldn't care less what people do in their bedrooms.

I guess they just can't understand the difference.

As far as I know, homosexuals have exactly the same marriage prerogatives as everyone else.

Three easy points to rebut things like this on the Libs own playing field (nailing them in this way p*sses them off MUCH more than confronting them on morality grounds):

1.) It wasn't Bush who attempted to make Mary Cheney's homosexuality an issue in a debate.

2.) It wasn't the Republicans that ran the ad against Coors that employed anti-gay imagery (negative portrayal of one of the Coors Co. "gay pride days")

3.) The great hero of the Left, Bill Clinton, WANTED Kerry to match (if not exceed) the level of "homophobia" that the Left is accusing Bush of.

It was John Kerry who brought up Mary Cheney. Bush was mysteriously silent about the gay issue in the campaign. And Cheney, if anything, voiced hesitation about a marriage amendment.

This author is (like all leftists) delusional.

As usual, the Dems just can't blame themselves.

The Rove-Bush decision to surf on the anti-gay backlash came about in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision, in the spring of 2003, to overturn the so-called sodomy laws

the dems are still blaming somebody else than themselves. as long as they continue this line of thinking, my lifetime will be enjoyable.

Wow, they don't sound very "tolerant" of other viewpoints to me!

The gay issue was pretty far down my list of important issues.

First of all, we need to start calling them QUEERS, not "gay" which means "happy"!! They hate the term QUEER!

We also need to start setting the mental picture in our fellow citizens' minds to illustrate how DISGUSTING their behavior is...I always say "how can a man stick his prized possession up another man's orifice with all that stinky s*%t in there; can you imagine the smell?" Yuk!

If you don't agree, you hate.

How about, we just don't want it forced on us?
Whatever,
Go live your lives, just don't make us watch.

A subtle hint to the author of this little screed: we don't want to know what you do with and to your rectum. We really don't.

But if feel compelled to force us to know what you do with and to your rectum, then do not be surprised when you are regarded with disgust and told to go the hell away.

How much "anti-homosexual" rhetoric did anyone actually hear in this election? Come on. Be honest. I don't know of any candidate, with the exception of Alan Keyes, who even brought up the moral dimension to this campaign. If anyone means to imply that the Republicans won on the basis of their anti-homo agenda, then they're more deluded than I thought.

The gay marriage proposals went down by much wider margins than Bush won.

No, they've tried to adopt the term "queer" as if to say, "If we accept this term, then it no longer means anything bad."

I'd like them to adopt "fag," too, which I think became a term to describe people who were going to be burned.

ONE! Ohio.

Admit it, liberals... your guy just SUCKED.

I have a male hairdresser who is gay and who is further to the right than I am, if that's possible. He had Rush on the radio and was openly rejoicing when I went in to get my hair done the day after the election. He was relieved to be demonstrably happy about the election results with me since most of his clients are elderly and very liberal.

Thanks to the dims, everyone is pigeonholed. The dimrat party is the greatest proponent of labels and stereotypes. Looks they will *not* learn from their mistakes. Morons.

Why are we only protesting gay marriage and not showing concern about "gay families"? Why are we allowing them to use other people's children or body parts to do what nature does not allow them to?
