This is posted on Drudge as well. We will hear all sorts of crap frm the DU people on this. Thing is it doesn't make a difference, BUSH still won. However you can see them trying to make more out of it than it is!

This is a bit of a reading comprehension test. The article states that until this is reported to the secretary of state - the adjustment (correction) will not be made, and presumably the explanation will not be known until that report is made. 99% of the errors attributed to machines are human errors in operating the machines (or, sometimes in their design). Look at the Airbus rudder issue in the 2001 crash in NYC, look at three mile island, etc. etc. etc. The headline is a nice tease - but I'd be willing to bet it was a human error in transfer of the results.

It would have been an issue in New Mexico in 2000 though. This is why we have to get these machines RIGHT because rest assured we haven't heard the end of this by a long shot. A 100% fair and honest election would've been an even easier re-election for Bush but when this type of thing happens it only casts doubt on the whole process.
