What happened when you tried voting in the browser that's showing you the poll (you did try that, right)? Voting makes the poll go away. Maybe Firefox doesn't "know" you voted. But, I just opened Netscape 4.71 for the first time in many months, and it's not showing me the poll, even after I logged in.
Beats me. At any rate, I read just a couple days ago that those newfangled tabbed browsers are providing the spyware/phishermen lots of new opportunities to practice their craft. Have fun.
Oh, I see now. Nevermind.
Do you believe everything you read? If you feel that Internet Explorer is a "secure" browser, you should continue to use it.
If you are actually interested in computer security, you might start out here: http://www.us-cert.gov/. Oh, wait-- that's the U.S. government. It must be all lies. Ooowweeeeoooo....
Oh, brother. Yeah, I believe everything I read. Would you like me to find the article about those tabbed browsers? Eh, nevermind. Suffice it to say that I don't "feel" any browser is "secure." The trick is to keep your guard up and don't fall for someone who's phishing. The tabbed browsers have problems all their own. But, I can just tell you knew that already.
Don't have a freakin' cow, dude.
