If what you say is true, this jackass just committed a Federal Offense and could be in deep 'doo-doo'. Aiding and abetting, or 'encouraging' Desertion (AWOL) is a major no-no, especially in a time of war.

Can't cite it chapter and verse but it's in Title 18 of the US Code.

This guy is a traitor to his (our) country and should be put away. His name should join the names of the likes of Benedict Arnold and John Walker. Wait, at least Arnold did help our cause before his wife (and the money) enticed him to turn traitor. And Walker was doing it for the money. Who's paying Ron?

Right you are. This idiot is guilty prima facie.

United States Code, Title 18, reads in part:

procure any person in the Armed Forces of the United States, or who has
been recruited for service therein, to desert therefrom, or aids any
such person in deserting or in attempting to desert from such service;
or
Whoever harbors, conceals, protects, or assists any such person who
may have deserted from such service, knowing him to have deserted
therefrom, or refuses to give up and deliver such person on the demand
of any officer authorized to receive him--
.....Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three
years, or both.

Kerry got away with it, even ran for President, why should this guy be any different. More left behaving illegally, with no consequences, just like John Kerry! The lack of restraint on the part of his followes, and his not coming out against it, scared his base.

The media is showing a speech where they said Bush ran a nasty campaign. I beg to differ. He behaved with complete decorum, it was Kerry who was completely un PC. He was the one calling the President an idiot, stupid, a liar, etc etc. His following, in a lot of people's opinion, turned off his Base, and they voted for Bush. It also scared people when Kerry was so hateful, and obstructed justice, even threatening Sinclair, in order to keep Stolen Honor from running. He was way over the top on that refusal, while encouraging anti Bush propaganda. That was scary too. .
