DId something recent trigger this jump on Spector, did he say something recently about this?
The day after the election, he was quoted (mistakenly he says) by AP as warning Bush not to think he was going to get any anti-abortion judges through -- or words to that effect. His campaign said he was misquoted or quoted out of context or something. (There's a thread around on the transcript; I didn't read it myself.)
