We all note the omission of the fact that this was far below what Gore got, so that Bush's very large increased support among Hispanics was a great part of his victory.

We wonder what country of Latin America this Institute would have us emulate. It's clear that they believe that we need to be more like a banana republic. Such scholarship and integrity -- it's almost like Mexico itself.

Actually, it's more than Gore got, if the 67.4% figure is right. The media exit polls are showing a 55% figure, which is a lot worse than Gore. I don't know which one is right. I'm just posting this because a lot of people are aware of the media exit polls but not of this exit poll, which contradicts it.

Given that the media exit polls were way off on calling the election, we should not be treating them as gospel truth.
