Nothing I could say would do justice to your brilliant take on what selling 'news' is really all about - in the US and elsewhere. You have written a compilation of every headline I have ever read in the MSM in Australia. Talking heads and 'newspapers' only exist to sell advertising. Nothing else. (You left out Paris Hilton!)
Dude, that piece is not my work. It is by a group called the Evolution Control Committee out of Columbus, OH. They created the piece based on music samples from AC/DC's "Back in Black" with a vocal track composed of phrases spoken by Gunga Dan on the CBS Evening News. "Rocked By Rape" is their masterpiece. It simply must be heard. I set a videotape to record CBS as I headed out to election night parties Tuesday. When I got home much later all soused and flush with (apparent) victory, I played the tape and watched Dan flailingly trying to keep hope alive while the ECC played in the background. Then I went to bed and slept like a baby.
