Who are the @ssclowns who run the county party for the Republicans here? Sorry to be harsh ... but they obviously dropped the ball.

All this shows is that most of the Independent voters went to Kerry in those counties. The Bush campaign did not do a good job getting out their base there. Also, Republicans in the mainline counties tend to be more liberal than in the rest of the state.

This needs to be fixed by the time Santorum runs for reelection in two years.
