From this point on Bush is through campaigning. When Air Force One lifts off it is going somewhere with a purpose, now. (Not that campaigning isn't) Don't you know that it has to really give a Congresscritter the willies to see AF1 landing in his district? How in the world is he going to resist W when W can walk down the ramp, look into the camera of the local TV and suggest that voters in these parts might send him someone more agreeable in 2 years?
I suppose just the implied threat of such a thing will go quite a ways.

Knowing he's up against term limits, I think he'll pull out all his stops. The fact he increased the base in 4 years is by no means an accident.
