My husband with our two sons visited Europe in 2000. We had a wonderful time and spent a boatload of money. In 1994, we spent some weeks in England and enjoyed it immensely. At this point, and with France's and England's attitudes, we will never darken their doors again. Arrogant little asses. They want our money, but they don't want us to be free to choose our leaders to protect us from terrorists. To hell with them forever. However, Italy, Poland, we'll see you again.
Nothing Europe does or says really bothers me because I understand that, for the most part, their best and brightest has pretty much drained away to America over the past two centuries.
That is to say, their idiocies are expectable.
