Look, the man won with 51% of the popular vote and a respectable 286 EVs. I thought Ohio was getting too close for comfort at times but I can't say that I'm disappointed. All things considered, Rove did damn well. And I say this as an admirer of Ann.

Search my poster name and read my threads on Ohio.
Compelling evidence is that it was closer.
The fix was in, but thankfully, they lost.

She's right that the gay marriage issue could heve made this an electoral landslide. But what the heck, a win is a win.

I expected a well-padded lead in electoral votes, with WI or MN and PA or NJ to go to the President, but I am just happy to know the results the day after and not have a repeat of 2000 (hearing the liars say Bush didn't win popular vote or that he's illegitimately elected).

It did get pretty close in several states, but even without Ohio, the total is 266 - so if New Hampshire or any of the close states had come through, it would have put the President over the top anyway. Given all the fraud on the DUmmocrats behalf, it's hard to win in die-hard liberal land.
