Well, there's the other thing about all this -- the idea of the Trinity. If God Jesus and the Holy Spirit (water ice and steam = the same substance) are all the same as Jesus said then there is no way that Jesus could contradict the law in Leviticus about it being an "abomination" for a man to sleep with another man "as with a woman". God -- who is Jesus -- said these shall be put to death for this sin. Christ said "if you have seen the Father, you have seen me." But I feel for Ireland -- non believers just cannot understand Scripture.

Everybody is correct here, but the liberals will not believe anything that is not written in red ink because they don't believe the Bible was breathed by God. Posts 156 and 174 are the correct quotes they are looking for. They will even argue with those saying Mathew and Luke wrote that not Jesus. It is futile to argue scripture to dead people. They can't see or hear because they are dead.

Jesus was and is and is forever God, so they will never understand that Jesus was in the Old Testament. They also don't understand the Trinity when Jesus said I and the Father are One, or If you've seen Me you have seen the Father. That means when God flooded the Earth and killed every living thing, save Noah and family, that was the same kind loving hippie Jesus they believe in. Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by this same Jesus. This same Jesus will let plagues and pestilence kill a third of the last days people. They are counting on His mercy and Grace to save their non-believing hides in the judgment. But since they haven't read the Book and believed His Word, they are lost.

I heard Bill O'Riely say he didn't believe anything that wasn't in the 4 Gospels, so that leaves out the Apostles and the prophets and the letters. What did Jesus teach when He taught the scriptures? He taught the OLD TESTAMENT! Just like a cafeteria, Bill can pick and choose what he likes and still believe what he chooses. Like when he said, "I believe if you are a good person whether Buddhist, Islamic, Jewish, or whatever, you will go to heaven." I can't seem to find that verse anywhere.
